Violence against children is a common problem in Bangladesh but is rarely reported to the relevant judicial authorities. Official data and media reports provide little information about the types and levels of violence experienced by children. Child abuse takes place at home, at school, in the workplace, at work, and in public places. There is no specific report on the six grave violations concerning Bangladesh.
