Mali
Mali has been plunged into a security, political and humanitarian crisis following the coup d'état in March 2012 and the offensive of the National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad (predominantly Tuareg) and Islamists in December 2012. The situation in recent years has fallen, with the number of displaced persons having quadrupled, and concern about the continuation of the conflict, victims and hunger.

The country task force verified 2,095 grave violations against 1,473 children (1,134 boys, 314 girls, 25 sex unknown), including some children who were victims of multiple violations;

The country task force verified the recruitment and use of 901 children (754 boys, 147 girls) aged between 4 and 17 years, including 572 who were below the age of 15 at the time of recruitment;

A total of 408 children (275 boys, 116 girls, 17 sex unknown), some as young as three months old, were killed (144) and maimed (264);

The country task force verified that 50 children, all girls aged between 12 and 17 years, were subjected to sexual violence during the reporting period;

A total of 240 attacks on schools (186) and hospitals (54) were verified during the reporting period;

The country task force verified the abduction of 175 children (109 boys, 58 girls, 8 sex unknown) by unidentified perpetrators;

The country task force verified 321 incidents of denial of humanitarian access.
